Satin: Warp and weft yarns are interlaced at least once every three yarns, so the satin weave makes the fabric denser and thicker. Satin weave products are more expensive than plain and twill weave products. The cloth is smooth, delicate and glossy.

The characteristics of pure cotton fabrics are :
1. Hygroscopicity: Cotton fiber has good hygroscopicity, under normal circumstances, the fiber can absorb moisture into the surrounding atmosphere, its moisture content is 8-10%, so it touches the human skin, making people feel soft and not rigid. If the humidity of cotton cloth increases, the surrounding temperature is higher, the water content in the fiber will evaporate completely, so that the fabric maintains a water balance, making people feel comfortable.
2. Moisture retention: because cotton fiber is a poor conductor of heat and electricity, the thermal conductivity is very low, and because cotton fiber itself has the advantages of porosity, high elasticity, between the fibers can accumulate a large amount of air, air is a bad conductor of heat and electricity, so, cotton fiber textiles have good moisture retention, wearing cotton clothing. It makes people feel warm.
3. Heat Resistance: Pure cotton fabric has good heat resistance. When the temperature is below 110 C, it will only cause moisture evaporation on the fabric and will not damage the fiber. Therefore, the use of pure cotton fabric at room temperature, washing, printing and dyeing have no effect on the fabric, thus improving the washing and wear resistance of pure cotton fabric.
Satin fabric washing methods :
1. Satin fabric has good alkali resistance and heat resistance. It can be washed by hand washing machine with various detergents, but it is not suitable for chlorine bleaching.
2. White can be washed with high alkaline detergent and high temperature.
3, the satin fabric can not soak too long to avoid fading.
4, dry, avoid exposure, so as not to fade dark clothing, drying in the sun, will be facing out.
5, be sure to separate from other clothes, do not wash together.
6, do not wring to avoid wrinkles.
Satin fabric maintenance methods :
1, quilts, sheets, pillowcases can not be soaked in hot water, so as not to appear yellow sweat stain.
2, pay attention to ventilation, avoid fabric moisture, so as to avoid the satin fabric mildew and spots.
3, wash cool dry, deep, light coloured place, it is best not to put together, put camphor pills, avoid insects.
4, avoid prolonged exposure, so as not to reduce the fastness and cause fading, yellowing, especially the sun exposure.
